Barry Nancarrow was a news cameraman with NBN Channel 3 in Newcastle (NSW, Australia) from 1967 to 1982. The undoubted highlight of his career in the television industry was winning a Logie for his coverage of the Star Hotel Riot, an incident that put Newcastle on the world stage. He was also the cameraman on NBN's Logie winning series, "Beating Around the Bush."
Dedicated to my wife Cheryl, whose unquestioning and untiring support of my celluloid capers never faltered despite having to constantly compete with the camera for my attention.
