Holiday Snaps in Paradise.

Home to the Worimi Nation, Nelson Bay is one of Australia’s most beautiful areas. It is, literally, a paradise.

After an hour’s drive north of Newcastle, these two vistas will ensure you’ll forever want to return.

The artwork captured in 2004 are all I can offer.

One set of the Shoal Bay loo near Tomaree Point, the other of Nelson Bay parking station from Magnus Street.

Submitted in randomness and no further comment, other than at the time I was unaware of how to properly capture the sequence of walls or a story-telling wide shot.

Below is Google street view of the parking station 15 years later, the fading artwork still there.

Further below, some half-dozen shots of Shoal Bay loo.

Below ~ Shoal Bay ‘amenities’ (dunny) near Tomaree National Park, facing Port Stephens shoreline in 2004.

A final word or two…
