Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) is advising motorists of changes to speed limits in the Glendon, Elderslie and Lochinvar areas.

RMS expects the new speed limit signs to be installed from 28 July, weather permitting.

The 100km/h speed limit on Glendon Road at Glendon will be reduced to 80km/h for the full 14.1 kilometre length.

“The 100km/h speed limit on Elderslie Road from west of Stanhope Road to Gresford Road at Glendon will be reduced to 80km/h for 7.8 kilometres. There will be no change to speed limits on the remaining length of Elderslie Road.

“The 100km/h speed limit on Stanhope Road from Maitland Vale Road to just east of Elderslie Road at Elderslie will be reduced to 80km/h for 9.8 kilometres.

“The 100km/h speed limit on Luskintyre Road from about two kilometres west of Windermere Road to the Stanhope and Maitland Vale roads intersections will be reduced to 80km/h for 9.8 kilometres. There will be no change to speed limits on the remaining length of Luskintyre Road.

“RMS also carried out a speed limit review of Gresford Road and found the 100km/h speed limit was appropriate for the road conditions.
