Reflections Holiday Parks Responds to
Yesterday’s NSW Public Health Order Now in Place

The NSW Minister for Health and Medical Research, The Hon. Brad Hazzard, MP, has now confirmed the NSW position and made an Order under the Public Health Act 2010 which bans mass gatherings, places restrictions on other gatherings and requires the closure of caravan parks and camping grounds.

Reflections Holiday Parks are restricting access to their 37 holiday parks under direction of the NSW Government to close caravan parks and camping grounds. The Minister directed that caravan parks and camping grounds must not be open to members of the public except for the purposes of:

i) Accommodating permanent residents of the caravan park or camping ground or other persons who have no other place of permanent residence, and

ii) Allowing visitors to visit persons referred to in (i)

This means:

  • Permanent residents and park workers whose home is in the park can stay
  • Permanent residents’ visitors will be allowed with some restrictions
  • Travellers already in the park with no other permanent residence will be allowed to stay
